Naughty cat decided it was a good idea to bring in a silvereye. Surely mom and dad would be very proud. He was very surprised that they weren’t.
I bedded the little Silvereye on a jumper in the sunshine and recovered upon we released him. Luckily, Naughty did a gentle catch. And amazingly, the bird recovered and flew away. :-)
